The training programs include new joiner onboarding and training, role-specific training, on-the-job training, and refresher trainings. The trainer will work closely with the management to develop and enhance training programs and material to customize them to suit dynamic requirements. The trainer role is key in making sure a high volume of new hires can be onboarded and trained and are producing high quality work as quickly and effectively as possible. Responsibilities: Organize and conduct application and process training of new hires Raise necessary requests for new joiners to ensure they have all accesses before going live in process Co-ordinate with Tech/ IT team to make the required training arrangements and highlight issues with staging when necessary Design and regularly update training programs and course material, such as handouts, PPTs, question paper and assignments Audit practice files of new joiners and give constructive feedback Identify process gaps and quality issues with the help of management and conduct refresher sessions for teams Track process updates and ensure that team members are educated about these changes Track training progress and number of trainees completing these training Build and conduct process knowledge tests for new joiners and existing team members Help identify ways to curtail the training duration without compromising on training quality Ensure maximum yield of “Training to Go Live” of trainees Competencies: Exceptional process knowledge Concise and precise communication & presentation skills both written and spoken People oriented, patient and approachable Clarity of thought Analytical and detail oriented Ability to give positive & constructive feedback Passion for people development and training Ability to work within strict timelines Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in finance/ business is required; an advanced degree is considered a plus 3+ years of professional work experience Experience in training would be a plus but is not a mandate Experience in developing training materials is desirable Proficiency with MS PowerPoint and MS Excel Morningstar is an equal opportunity employer Formulate or improve upon existing methods and materials to measure the progress of trainees and the effectiveness of training.
