Job Summary
Performs project/proposal sourcing functions for suppliers and /or subcontractors. May be required to support other supply chain duties. Receives minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
. Proactively completes Sourcing
and
Diversity Program activities in support of an assigned project, within established schedule . Monitor Sourcing supplier’s online vendor registration site . Prepare and issue Request For Information (RFI)
for complex scopes of work . Coordinate with supplier/subcontractor to obtain
and
receive required information in prescribed format . Coordinate and communicate information with Safety, Engineering, Quality, Construction and Finance and obtain necessary approval as needed . Coordinate with Legal Services to obtain compliance approval .Coordinate internally and obtain approval for JV / Consortium agreements . Update Information in Global Supplier Database (GSD) .
Proficient in the functions of the Sourcing tools used to monitor Vendor Performance Evaluation (VPE) process . Performs routine tasks efficiently and without advance notification . Coordinates and leads the tracking process through appropriate communications with the project / proposal, and collaborates with engineering, quality and finance regarding tracked submittals status . Prepare monthly vendor prequalification status reports . Understands how Sourcing responsibilities relate to the client, suppliers, subcontractors
and internally . Monitor Diversity suppliers prequalification . May train others in the function of an Sourcing Specialist . Files appropriate record documents and follows Corporate and project filing rules . Individual contributor with no subordinates
