Key responsibilities
accountability and ownership of the entire demand to delivery process for service buying for Maersk Line vessels.
Running the RFQ process with service providers by applying expertise and knowhow for most optimal, economical and highest First Time Fix Ratio (FTFR).
Follow Procure to Pay process (PTP) for timely payments to all vendors and handle invoices with discrepancies.
Perform Stakeholder Management with technical organization through daily interactions and addressing their concerns in a timely manner.
Ensure optimum utilization of vessel budgets
You will be involved in key negotiations and Supplier Performance Management tasks to maximize savings and improve the service quality towards our global fleet.
Follow the 4R Principle – Right price, Right Place, Right Time and Right Quantity.
Involved in developing new service provider basis delivery experience at respective ports to expand our global coverage.
Always follow the Maersk’s carbon neutral initiative to minimize the carbon emission in our supply chains.
Assist Manager with any additional task pertaining to operations as appointed.
To be well-versed with IT platform / system operation with good knowledge to gain maximum output of offered tools at work and be able to mentor / train team members as & when required.

Holds a bachelor’s degree and has service procurement background. Experience from Shipping, Marine workshop with an Electrical background or Sailing experience would be an added benefit.
Has minimum 2 years of work experience within procurement from a reputed Shipping company or a Technical management company.
Has a high commercial focus and is used to negotiate with international and global companies as well dealing with local rules and regulations.
Understand stakeholder management and can build rapport even in challenging situations with a mindset for conflict resolution. Must have the sense of urgency to address all pressing matters with key stakeholders
Excellent communication skills and team player.
Agile behaviour and a Multitasker in a structured manner with an eye for the detail level necessary
