Job Location: Sricity or Chennai with travel to Sricity on a weekly basis
Exp: 15 years of which a minimum of 5 years with financial, compliance and budget management experience. Should have managed a team of at-least 7 to 8 persons. Experience in academic Institutions would be an advantage.
Education: Chartered Accountant

Job Description:
Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:
The Chief Financial Officer advises the Vice Chancellor on all matters pertaining to the management and operation of accounting, accounts receivable, accounts payable, cash management, budget management and control, student aid disbursement tracking and MIS, budget preparation, fixed asset management, grant management, project monitoring and reporting, financial information systems, financial statement preparation, taxation, statutory compliances and payroll. Ensures compliance with professional accounting standards, rules, regulations, and laws including UGC and Andhra Pradesh Private University Act.
Interaction with Internal Auditors, Statutory Auditors, Bankers, Consultants and Regulatory Authorities
Facilitates the governance of the University by providing financial information to the Board of Governors and implementing the Board’s decisions through the establishment of policies, procedures, and guidelines.
Financial Information Systems: In cooperation with Information technology department, maintains and upgrades computer systems which capture information required for internal and external financial reporting.
The Chief Financial Officer helps to promote a customer-oriented service attitude and serves as the executive officer directly responsible for providing leadership and general management of the finance functions.
Skills Required:
Strong leadership and strategic planning abilities are required.
Executive problem-solving skills and the ability to organize and manage complex functions are required.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
