What you’ll be doing…
The technical engineer supports a complex mix of technologies that create the Managed Services product offerings including Managed Unified Communications & Collaboration, and IP Voice Services.
Responsible for a wide range of activities primarily first level support of Managed Services customers whose responsibilities includes initial incident troubleshooting, ticket management, triage activities, collaboration with advanced teams surrounding the on-going proactive/reactive incidents.
Performing the initial troubleshooting and resolution of standard, repetitive to moderately complex Voice issues, working with vendors and internal organizations (IT NOC, Engineering, PMO, etc.) on product-wide issues.
Interact with customers on high-visibility and complex technical issues with details and concepts.

This hybrid role will have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days as set by the manager.
What we’re looking for…
You’ll need to have:
Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
Four or more years of relevant work experience.
Knowledge of voice products to help solve moderately complex problems.
Knowledge of Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM), Cisco Unity Connection (CUC), Cisco Instant Messaging & Presence(IMP), Voice gateways (SIP, MGCP) Cisco Unified Border Element (CUBE), Cisco Expressways, Cisco Attendant Console, and Cisco Emergency Responder.
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
Industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP Collaboration.
Knowledge of Ribbon SBC.
Flexible to work 24/7/365 rotational shifts including weekends as required.
Excellent communications skills and the ability to deliver results under pressure.
Excellent customer-facing skills and the ability to manage the internal technical teams during joint collaborations.
The ability to troubleshoot skill sets to solve moderately complex problems across all Voice disciplines.
Strong customer service skills and the ability to interface successfully with both customers’ technical and non-technical contacts, account teams, and various other groups involved in the delivery of service to the end customer.
