Position Summary
This position is required to take up the day-to-day planning activities and coordination between all departments as per the machine dispatch schedule.
Able to handle all the system transactions and statutory requirements (like certification and compliance)
Need to handle the ECO and related processes in the SAP system for updation.
Use of various SAP reports like stock, Inventory, and shortage material.
Will be the key person to coordinate with assembly, ware-house and procurement function to bridge the gaps and assure delivery readiness as per timelines.
Job Responsibilities
Work cross-functionally to communicate proactively the requirements with procurement, quality, warehouse, and assembly teams to ensure customer commitments align with production schedules.
Anticipating needs, issues in advance and involve developing creative solutions to resolve production problems.
Interaction with Procurement team on daily basis to resolve issues regarding Material availability.
Review and set part parameters based on consumption pattern, volume change and assign MRP type.
Release of productions orders and keep track of start and end date of machine.
Able to perform all SAP-related activities.
Experience
4 to 6 Years of experience in Planning function and use of SAP as ERP.
Experience in manufacturing industry is preferred
Skills and Personal Attributes
Well conversant with ERP system (SAP) PP module.
Good knowledge of a material master, MRP, and work scheduling activities.
Good analytical and domain function knowledge in terms of demand planning, forecast tools, capacity planning, KANBAN system.
Good communication skills in English, both spoken and written, and fluent in the local language.
Basic knowledge of MS office tools.
Be a good team member and able to contribute in cross-functional teams
Education
Diploma in Mechanical/Production/Electrical Engineering from a reputed institute/University.
