Job Title: IT Procurement Coordinator
Location: Mumbai, India
A LITTLE BIT ABOUT THE ROLE:
The role will be responsible for the day-to-day IT procurement & asset coordination process across 9 markets in the region.
This will include reviewing and purchasing of technology; researching and negotiating with vendors and suppliers; building the IT inventory and managing assets for studios across the SEAPAC region.
This is NOT an IT Engineer role. The candidate will not be responsible for troubleshooting and solving user queries.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
Lead the purchasing and management of IT assets.
Responsible for researching, finding and liaising with vendors in different countries. Establish and maintain these vendor relationships
Responsible for product support and warranties, leasing, maintenance, and software contracts, as well as hardware purchases, and license information
Coordinate with vendors and with relevant internal teams on supply and delivery of new IT Kits
Co-ordinate with movement of existing IT Kits and other relevant IT assets from one location to another, based on where new starters and leavers are located.
Obtain and review competitive bids, quotes, and proposals from vendors and contractors; discuss evaluations and review with requesters and subject matter experts.
Maintain contract data
Research products and equipment; prepare product/equipment specifications.
Responsible for shipping any defective equipment back to vendor and arranging for a replacement.
Works with Sr. IT Manager to maintain repository of enterprise software licenses/keys
Assist Sr. IT Manager in updating and maintaining inventories for all IT equipment and supplies including location, asset tag number serial number make and model of equipment.
Responsible for setting and following processes for Asset Lifecycle Management
Responsible for all surplus inventories including recording all End of Life (EOL) inventories and disposal.
Responsible for decommissioning assets and oversee surplus removal as needed
WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO BE GREAT IN THIS ROLE:
Four years of relevant experience in procurement of IT assets (hardware, software and maintenance)
Experience with operation and reporting from IT procurement tools (SAP, Oracle Financials) software vendor portals (Adobe, Microsoft, VMWare, IBM, etc.)
Preference for candidates with experience in operation of IT Asset Management tools
Preference for candidates with experience in working with different countries in a region
Must be organized with excellent co-ordination skills
Must be proficient in English – both speaking and writing
Self-motivated, working with little supervision.
Proven ability to communicate and liaise with junior – mid levels in the business.
Discrete about all confidential and personal information.
Driven, proactive, helpful, and enthusiastic team player.
This is a permanently virtual role. The candidate will be expected to maintain a minimum home-internet speed of 200mbps, to effectively carry out the requirements of this role.
