Job ResponsibilitiesTo look into the day to day reservations of the tablesTo see that the food is brought in time for buffet service and that buffet is replenished from time to timeTo take over the hostess job in her absenceTo take the beverage order of the guest and provide all meal choices such as buffet & a la carteTo ensure proper billing of tablesTo ensure G.S.T.S card is filled in by the guestsTo ensure service standards are maintainedAttending phone calls & handling enquiriesTo ensure disciplineTo update the non-availability & sell for the day board on a daily basisTo ensure lights & A/C are switched off after closing & put on before opening of the restaurantGenerates cover statement report & updates the remarks book & attendance registerGenerating reports for linen, stewarding & stationary consumptionMotivate staff through leadershipControl cost by minimizing pilferage & breakagePersonally enquire & ensure complete guest satisfactionAssist concerned departments in stock takingPick up the food from the kitchen & serve to the guestsSetting up the buffet counters & general upkeep of the restaurantCollecting linen from the linen departmentReturning the soiled linen & maintaining the linen registerClearing dirty CCG from the restaurant, getting it wiped and re-stacked in the sideboardJob RequirementsCandidate should possess a Vocational Training/ITI in Hospitality/Tourism Management or equivalentCraft course / Diploma in hotel managementBasic computer knowledgeMinimum of one year experienceFluency in spoken & written EnglishSmart, well groomed and presentableCourteous and Even temperedJob Type: Full-time
