Analyze and identify scenarios & scope for automation
Execute scenarios Manually as well as with Automation tools
Perform technical feasibility analysis
Identify reusable scenarios and functions
Create, update and execute automation tests using existing automation framework
Debug and fix script related issues
Creation of Gherkin test scripts in Jira/Agile Central
Report status promptly and daily basis
Able to write complex SQL queries
What will you be doing?
Test Planning and assisting developers in designing automated unit & integration tests
Creation of automated Testware – estimates, scenarios, cases, data & tests.
Review Test planning/execution & consult for continuous improvement in quality & efficiency for deliverables
Support junior team members, including test automation skill development & performance management
Support and maintenance of Test Automation code and frameworks/test harnesses
Working closely with the project/application team
Identify Test environment requirements and liaise with appropriate team (s) to ensure availability
Own Defect reports, resolution, and verification of fixes
Reviews and inspections of project deliverables
Minimize the risk of production systems failure by pre-testing the intended functionality and integration of new systems and system changes
Ensure overall process adherence on organization wide guidelines for delivery, operations and quality.
Assess risk and provide advice regarding the readiness of a system or component to be released for production
What we’re looking for:
Understanding of IT systems and functioning with an aptitude to learn tools/apps/processes/domains/webservices
Strong technical background (requirements analysis, architecture, design reviews exposure); detail-oriented & having problem solving abilities including experience with test automation assessment, strategy, management etc. (familiarity with test tools/frameworks like BDD/CICD/DevOPs,TestNG, REST ASSURED, Java/Selenium, Cucumber,Jenkins,Gherkin etc.)
Exposure to working in testing projects in a team environment with relevant work experience, (Functional & Domain knowledge in the Retail Banking & Credit cards businesses)
Leadership skills, Conflict management skills and generate trust and respect in team with an ability to articulate thoughts spoken/written with global teams
Skills that will help you in the role:
Exposure to Automation frameworks, scripting skills
Awareness of modern programming languages like Python
Experience in planning/executing testing aligned to the Agile pyramid
Professional certifications in programming/Automation scripting
