The Management Accounting Specialist supports in the delivery of management accounting services to deliver the accurate and timely processing of all financial transactions, ensuring the process controls are effectively maintained and monitored. The Management Accounting Specialist has a good understanding of established concepts and procedures in management accounting gained through extensive practical experience and works with colleagues to deliver the processing, recording, classifying, consolidating and interpreting Vodafone financials; coordinating and managing Vodafones financial reporting requirements, including the production of monthly, quarterly and annual reports.Typically reports to the Senior Management Accounting Manager.Assists, advises and executes processes and activities for reporting consolidated financial information and helps influence the shape and form of potential new accounting standards;Uses communication skills to exchange ideas and information in a concise and logical way to support the delivery of interpreting new accounting procedures and assessing their impact;Effectively interacts with colleagues to operate external and internal financial reporting and compliance related activities;Performs other job-related duties or tasks defined by the supervisor or resulting from assigned agendas.
