GENERAL STATEMENT OF JOB
THIS POSITION IS OPEN TO CURRENT CITY OF CAPE CORAL EMPLOYEES AND THE PUBLIC IS WELCOME TO APPLY. This position is located in the Yacht Basin in Marine Services. THE POSITION Below is a brief overview of the role, not a full job description.
Provides information to the general public such as weather, water conditions or tidal information.
Helps enforce marina standards set forth in lease agreements. Monitors and controls yacht basin traffic to ensure adherence to established navigation rules, regulations and safe boating practices.
Assists in activities such as leasing boat slips and assigning transient docking space, to include assisting in docking and undocking and collecting fees where applicable.
Knowledge of both sail and power boating.
Coordinates pro shop, cafe’ and vending machine inventory and sales processes.
Perform other related duties as required.
